Osseocon produces bone graft biomaterials used in Implantology, Buco-Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics and Enodontics; It can also be used in orthopedics for the regeneration of lost bone tissue. In 2006, after eight years of studies in the field of Materials Engineering, Dr. Marcio Baltazar Conz, now the current scientific director of Osseocon Biomaterials, devoted his time and efforts to the creation of a company whose main objective was to meet the needs of professionals of the surgical areas.

Today, after 15 years of studies in the area of bone graft biomaterials, Osseocon goes far beyond this goal, offering the Brazilian market controlled, safe products and, mainly, providing the professionals with predictable regenerative clinical results.

INPN reports the history of the creation of Alobone

The eight-year experience studying bone grafts in master’s and doctoral degrees in Materials Engineering at Coppe / UFRJ provided knowledge for Dr. Márcio Baltazar Conz to create the company Osseocon Biomateriais in 2007. Three years later, he developed the bone graft Alobone.
